Murad Rapid Age Spot Serum Review

If you’ve had acne and dealt with the scarring that comes afterwards, you might have already heard of the Murad Rapid Age Spot Serum. This is one of Murad’s best selling products, and we’re going to talk about why that is.

This serum runs at at hefty $65 on the Ulta website. However, what is so great about it, is that the smallest amount goes a long way. And since this is specifically made for targeting dark spots and age spots, you only use it where needed. You can use it all over the face though, if that’s what you prefer.

The main ingredients in the serum are Hydroquinone, which help fade the dark spots, and Hexapeptide-2, which is what lightens them. It also contains glycolic acid to exfoliate the skin, giving it a fresh and bright look.

Most people tend to see results in a little over a week. I personally have used this on a super dark acne spot I had on my cheek. One warning about this product, be sure to keep a close eye on your skin. After a couple of weeks, I started to get a dry spot where I was using the serum. I’ve also read reviews of people feeling like this burnt their skin when they first applied. So be sure to test it out before slathering the product all over our face.

For me personally, I just had a little dryness afterwards. But, my acne spot faded immensely and is practically unnoticeable now. If you want to try out the serum without going all in and paying the full $65, try getting a sample at your local Sephora or Ulta. Still wanting to buy the actual product?
Ulta sells a travel size of this Murad serum for only $15.
