Teint Idole Stick Foundation Review

With summer approaching, it’s time to switch up our foundations from dewy, to matte. At least if you’re like me and have combo/oily skin! This is why today we’re going to review the Lancôme Teint Idole Stick Foundation, which can be found at Sephora.

Claims:

On the Sephora website, this foundation claims to have 24-hour wear, be highly pigmented with high coverage, and have a matte finish.

Thoughts:

I can definitely agree that this foundation stick is highly pigmented, and has high coverage, if you build it up. On my days where I want light coverage, I swipe maybe two lines of the foundation on each cheek, one on my forehead, and a little on my chin. Then I blend it in by using a beauty blender.

When it’s a day that I want high coverage, the only thing I do is add more foundation. Meaning, instead of two stripes on each cheek, I’ll do 3 or 4. Usually that’s the only place I add more foundation, as it’s where the most coverage is needed. And I again, use a beauty blender. This foundation blends extremely well with a brush though. What you use simply depends on what your personal preference is.

How it wears:

I’ve tested out this foundation on several occasions, and I can definitely say it’ll last you a good 8 to 10 hours. What I love about the formula is that it goes on very smooth and creamy-like. However, it does not get super dewy or make me look oily. By the end of the day, I do have a tiny bit of shine on my forehead, but not enough for me to look oily. Plus, the best part is that it feels extremely lightweight on the skin. Sometimes I forget I even have foundation on by the end of the day!

So if you’re in the market for a new foundation, I would recommend trying this one out! If you already have it, or have tried out, let us know how it worked for you!
